About The Firm

Rodney C. Mason, JD,
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Since 1975
I moved to Asheboro in the Fall of 1975 after graduating from Wake Forest Law School. I married my college sweetheart and we started our family a few years later. Asheboro and Randolph County provided a good environment to raise our two boys. I learned about Asheboro from my civic involvement. I enjoyed years of adult leadership with the Boy Scouts of America after I gained Eagle Rank. My wife was active in our Church. My wife is still active in Church but I’m no longer active in civic affairs: the Law Practice seems to consume all my time.
A famous lawyer once said, “A man who is dishonest cannot be a true lawyer because the law is not in his heart.” We deliver to the Client: honesty in the analysis of his case, plain speaking in our advice and transparency in our billing for every aspect of the Case.

Jamie Powell
Paralegal
I am a native of Randolph County. My husband and I and our three children live in Denton on several acres of beautiful land. I obtained a degree in Paralegal Science and I have worked as a Paralegal for over twenty years, the last twelve for Rodney Mason. I like people and I enjoy helping them through what is often for them a highly emotional time.
